South Whidbey Garden Club

Every year the South Whidbey Garden Club is excited to use the proceeds from our annual plant sale to give back to the community through our grant process. Over the past several years, the SWGC has awarded over $24,000. We look forward to receiving your grant application and learning about your possible project that will enhance our South Whidbey Island community.

The club is seeking grant applications from organizations interested in pursuing funding for projects that foster or demonstrate the following outcomes:

  • Environmental stewardship
  • Horticultural education
  • Community beautification

The South Whidbey Garden Club requires that the grant be given to non-profit or educational organizations. Funds should be earmarked for the purchase of supplies or to provide educational services. No more than 10% of the amount awarded can be used for administrative costs. Funds from this grant can be used as matching funds for larger funding proposals. The grants awarded are in the range of $500.

PROPOSALS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 28TH
